Emmanuel E. Garcia Morales, PhD, joined the Cochlear center for Hearing and Public Health as a Assistant Scientist. He obtained his PhD in Economics from the Johns Hopkins Department of Economics in 2018. His research experience includes studying the effects of assistance programs on the health and human capital of youth with disabilities, and the impact that M&A’s in the pharmaceutical industry have on the price of generic drugs. He has also been involved in the statistical analysis of randomized control trials at the Johns Hopkins Armstrong Institute for patient safety and quality.
