Bio

Sheree Schwartz, PhD, MPH, associate professor in Epidemiology, is an infectious disease epidemiologist with technical expertise in reproductive health and implementation science research. She leverages implementation research frameworks, user-centered work, and optimization to evaluate implementation strategies to improve uptake and adherence to evidence-based biomedical interventions in HIV prevention and treatment in Africa and the U.S.

Schwartz is the director of the HIV & Implementation Science Training Fellowship for early stage investigators, co-director of the Johns Hopkins University CFAR Implementation Science Core, co-director of the Hopkins Implementation Science Hub for Ending the HIV Epidemic and co-leads the Program in Implementation and Equity Research (PIER) within the Department of Epidemiology.
